All levels are welcome. Ages 8 and up! No prior experience is needed. Learn to tone, stretch, relax and breathe!Classes are taught at various locations: Colchester, Cromwell, East Hampton, Portland, CT.Various styles of yoga are taught: Ashtanga, Soft Style, Stretch and Tone, Hot Yoga, back care, prenatal, Yoga-lates (combination of yoga and Pilates). Classes are taught in safe, friendly environments. New students are welcomed by all and are guided carefully in the yoga postures. Classes end with meditation/breathing and a “final” relaxation where gentle stretching is applied. Soft, relaxing music is used throughout the class. We can also help with eating issues to help with weight control.Credentials: Marcie Loffredo, director, is registered with Yoga Alliance. She also has certifications with the Yoga Institute of Houston, TX, Ashtanga with David Swenson, Soft Ashtanga with Doug Swenson. Marcie is currently studying Zen Yoga. She also attends various workshops at West Hartford Yoga Studio and Sacred Rivers Yoga Studio. Lauren Olshesky is studying for her Yoga Alliance registration with Beryl Bender Birch.
