Yoga for good health, relaxation, and enlightenmentMichael LaRocca has been teaching classical hatha and raja (meditation) yoga since 1970, including 18 years at Purdue University Calumet (1976 to 1994) and Moraine Valley Community College (1972 to present). He shares with his students the knowledge he gained in 16 years of study with Yogi Sri Nerode. Sri Nerode of the Bengal Province of India passed away in Chicago in 1983 at the age of 95. Yoga classes include relaxing exercises that relieve tension and restore good health, breathing techniques for a higher level of vitality, and meditation for calmness and clarity of mind. Group classes are available at various locations including Chicago, south suburbs, and northwest Indiana. Individual instruction is available by appointment.
