Our mission at Samadhi Yoga is to share the magic of yoga to help practitioners attain their essential state of joy–Samadhi. Our center promotes the practice of yoga in a supportive environment with the ultimate goal of helping to build a world of peace and unity. Our inspiring teachers combine Vinyasa flow with slow, sustained stretches, refinement of alignment in held poses, as well as emphasis on the breath and focus of the mind. In short, it is a practice of moving meditation. Classes may include traditional Sanskrit chants, mantra japa, pranayama, and meditation as a means for realizing the ultimate state of pure consciousness, Samadhi. We are reminded to listen to our bodies and enjoy the evolution of becoming fully present in the here and now.Kathleen Hunt began teaching dance classes in 1983 and has taught yoga since 1987.
