Glenmore Yoga & Wellness Center is dedicated to improving health and quality of life through traditional hatha yoga. We offer 30+weekly classes in two studios and also feature individual yoga instruction, therapeutic massage, and a holistic lending library. Glenmore is your place to unwind the body and calm the mind. Hatha yoga is for everyone! Our approach is therapeutic, and we feature small classes and individual attention. Classes include beginning/continuing, intermediate, mixed levels, vinyasa flow, gentle/restorative, prenatal, postnatal, as well as classes for children, teens, and older adults. We’ve also developed our own specialty classes. Yoga On The Ball is a fun class that features asana performed with stability balls and Yoga to the Core blends asana and core-strengthening principles. YogaDance was developed by Rodney Bradley, a physical therapist, Y.A.-registered yoga instructor, and a dancer. Nancy Glenmore Tatum, M.S., CMT, RYT 500, owner and director of the center, has developed our Forever Young yoga program. Nancy is a gerontologist who has been teaching hatha yoga in Richmond since 1970. In addition to teaching at the center, Nancy also teaches classes at retirement and assisted-living facilities. She also teaches an advanced certification program to prepare instructors to teach Forever Young yoga classes. All Glenmore instructors are certified and registered with Yoga Alliance. Most have completed our 200-hour teacher training program. We also present 500-hour trainings as well as workshops for the general public. We’re located in Richmond, VA’s far west end.
