    Benefits of Hatha Yoga

    Practicing the various postures, stretching your body and regulating your breathing brings with it several benefits for your body. It’s a well known fact that it improves the overall flexibility of the body. Apart from this, it improves your balance, corrects your posture and gives you strong and well toned muscles.

    I was not aware with Hatha Yoga and the benefits of the yoga before reading this thread.
    No doubt every yoga has its own qualities and characteristics and have some effective
    benefits on different parts of the body. I am also thinking to practice Hatha Yoga.

    Hatha yoga has many more benefits than just making you more flexible. In fact, the sun/moon principle in Hatha yoga is a metaphoric way to decsribe the Id and Pingala Nadis, which are energy centers which interlace with Kundalini Shakti which is awakened and then sent up the central channel of the spine, called Sushumna in Sanskrit. IN many ancient cultures Kundalini, or 'the serpent energy' is called the great healer. It moves through each of the chakras and as it does, balances imperfections in the energetic body so that you perspective becomes more and more Ho-LY as in WHOLE. The esoteric teachings of Hatha yoga are usually not shared with beginning yoga students, because you must first purify your physical body before you can expect to have a true Kundalini awakening, but the Ha and Tha of HATHA yoga refer to this science of releasing energy - when Shiva and Shakti or male and female energies are balanced and whole.

    hatha Yoga has lots of benefits over the health, improve the respiration as well as increase the blood flow in the body.

    Very effective to improve the health and fitness of peoples.

    You are right Hatha Yoga has lots of benefits. Every pose of Yoga has its own effect and no one are better from one another. Hatha Yoga is my favorite postures. I practice it regularly. It is so effective, you will definitely like it...
