The Sun Salutation is a series of 12 flowing asanas that is often thought of as the Mother of all yoga sequences. Also known as, Surya Namaskar and Salute to the Sun, the Sun Salutation deeply relaxes the body and detoxifies the organs.
The asanas within the Sun Salutation alternate to create both forward and backwards movements to stretch out our spines, tone our abdominal muscles, and breathe oxygen throughout our entire bodies.
